Since the mid-1980s, Anthony Culver has helped a broad range of clients cost-effectively define and reach their communications and marketing goals. He has invaluable experience and specializes in advising not-for-profit organizations. Anthony has helped 501(c)(3) organizations increase membership and non-dues revenue, introduce innovative and effective services and products for their members, and plan creative, memorable special events to recognize members and legislators.
For the last 10 years, he has worked intensively in the ever-changing healthcare quality improvement field: his emphasis has been on social marketing to mature consumers. Anthony has led projects to reduce racial disparities in healthcare delivery and to get consumers to take advantage of covered preventive services. He has also advised hundreds of providers and their trade associations, hospitals, nursing homes and home health agencies on how to best respond to their performance measures being made available to the public via government websites. Anthony has been a well-received speaker at conference organized by the Center for Medicare & Medicaid Services, the American Health Quality Association, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and the Administration on Aging.
Anthony also has a decade of experience in the residential development/construction industry working with the Home Builders Association of Memphis, serving both single-family and multi-family builders. He also helped progressive faith communities and community centers grow membership, reach capital campaign goals and successfully communicate their position on controversial social issues. Anthony is now working with forward-thinking employers who are preparing for the upcoming age quake by assisting older workers return to the workforce.
Anthony has led teams to create award-winning advertising campaigns that have been recognized by the Tennessee Society of Association Executive and the Mature Media Awards. He holds a bachelor of science degree and a master of science degree in communications from the University of Tennessee and now lives in Memphis, birthplace of the blues and the home of rock and roll.
